Local pubs take part in drink drive campaign

Pubs in Uttoxeter are among those taking part in a countywide drink drive campaign over the festive season.

Staffordshire County Council's 'I'll be Des' scheme has been running since the start of the month, and enters into it's busiest phase over the coming days.

The principle of the scheme is that participating venues - which include the Bramshall Inn, Ye Olde Talbot and the Bamboo Lounge - offer free or reduced price soft drinks to the designated driver in a group of customers.
