'Sport in the Hood' to run during half term

The council's 'Sport in the Hood' programme will run in Uttoxeter during next week's October half term.

Sessions will run at Uttoxeter Community Centre between 11am and 3pm next Tuesday and Wednesday (October 25 and 26).

The sessions are free, with no booking neccessary, and will include a range of sporting activities for children of all abilities, supervised by fully qualified and CRB checked coaches.

Councillor Bernard Peters told the council's website: "This increasingly popular programme is a great way for children to get out and active during the school holidays, and ake new friends as well as enjoying some great activites."
