Tales of truckers told in new book

A Uttoxeter author has compiled a book made up solely of truckers' memories and tales of life on the road.

Ros Unwin, was inspired to write 'The North Staffordshire Hauliers' by her late father-in-law's links to the haulage industry.

She then spoke to countless other drivers and haulage workers about the  life of a trucker, and has now put together a 128-page paperback packed with anecdotes and memories.

The book is available to pre-order online now, and is priced at £9.95.
