    Uttoxeter Town have been crowned champions of Division One after they won 3-0 at Cheadle SMU on Wednesday night.     Town will be champions should they win tomorrow night
    Uttoxeter Town are now one win away from the league title after they produced another crushing victory on Saturday. Town, who are playing in their debut season in the Staffordshire County Senior League, have been imperious all campaign, and dismantled Chesterton this weekend. Matt Redshaw opened the scoring on 11 minutes, converting Liam Sowter's unselfish centre, before Kyle Esplin volleyed home shortly afterwards to double the lead....
  • Moulton wins Half Marathon

    Carl Moulton won Sunday's race
    The Uttoxeter Half Marathon took place this weekend, with Boalloy's Carl Moulton triumphant. Moulton won in a time of 1:14:53, and was followed home by Cory Parker and Sean Byrne, who made up the top three. Ian Salt was the first Uttoxeter Road Runner over the line, finishing in fifth position. Michelle Buckle, of Newcastle Staffs AC, was the first woman over the line, in a time of 1:30:45.
  • On your marks for town's half marathon

    The race will get underway at the racecourse on Sunday morning
    A record number of runners are expected to take part in this year's Uttoxeter Half Marathon, which takes place this Sunday. Organisers have already seen hundreds of competitors register for the race, and are expecting that number to be swelled by runners signing up on the day. The race will begin at the racecourse at 10.30am, with anyone wanting to register on the morning advised to turn up early and head for the Centre Bar - entrants...
